  • What time do you open?

The Dungeon will open at 6:30 pm.
The Labyrinth will open at 7 pm

  • What time do you close?

The Dungeon will close at 10 pm.
The Labyrinth will close at 9 pm.

  • How much are tickets and where do I buy them?

Ticket prices for The Dungeon are $13
Ticket prices for The Labyrinth are $9
All tickets are purchased at the door. 

  • Do you have discounts?

Bring in canned food items and receive $3 off at The Dungeon and $2 off at The Labyrinth.

Active Military (with ID) will receive $5 off at The Dungeon and $4 off at The Labyrinth.

  • Do you offer a children's discount?

We offer lots of discounts but none for age.  It is an equal scare for everyone. 

  • Do you serve refreshments?

We do not offer food or refreshments but there are plenty of outstanding restaurants close to Grimes Castle.

  • Do you have entertainment?

  • Can you be refused admission after we purchase the ticket?

We have the right to refuse admittance to any patron(s) who is not safe and does not follow the rules such as: being rude, use of foul language, aggressive behavior, vulgar actions, weapons of any kind, alcohol, etc.

  • Do you offer refunds?

NO REFUNDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

  • How many people do you let in at a time?

You will be placed in groups of six.  Each group will be assigned a number.  When your group number is called all of you will enter the castle together.  We have provided a variety of other attractions to amuse you while you wait for your turn to be scared!  

  • Are you handicap accessible?

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control The Dungeon is not handicapped accessible. However, The Labyrinth is fully accessible!   If you have any concerns please feel free to call (775)220-5031 

  • Are animals allowed?

 For the safety of everyone, ABSOLUTELY NO PETS WILL BE ADMITTED!  This is not a place to bring any type of animal due to the noise, lights, and scary environment. However, if you utilize a guide dog, we will do our best to accommodate you.  Please let us know prior to purchasing your ticket.

  • Will the actors touch us?

Our staff will not intentionally or aggressively grab you; however, we are here to scare you and close proximity is part of the technique.   Please understand we are doing what you have paid us to do. . . which is, scare the yells out of you! We want you to get your money's worth, every last cent!

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you touch the actors, staff, or props.  WE WILL PRESS CHARGES!

  • Why do you have video surveillance of the attraction?

We do this for your safety and the safety of our staff.  Video surveillance gives us an extra eye to insure good security for a haunting good time.

  • Why are we asked to NOT bring our cell phones?

We ask that you DO NOT bring in the phones into the event.  We are a theatrical production and require your full attention for the ultimate effect.  When a cell phone rings it disturbs the other customers.  Also, the lights from the cell phone can ruin the thrill of the dark.  

  • What happens if I lose something in the haunt?

Do not stop! After you exit the castle contact the ticket counter or security and we will have our staff look for the missing item.  We will not stop the show for your lost article. If the property is not found, we will look for the item after closing when we have turned up the house lights.  We will then contact you to let you know we have located your missing item. 

  • Can we bring carry bags in with us?

You will NOT be allowed in the building with bags, boxes or other large carrying devices. We will NOT keep the items at the ticket counter or have you leave them out side the facility. Please leave them in your car or at home. This is for the safety of everyone in or around the facility.

  • Can we take photos or videos?

NO! We are a theatrical production and require your full attention for the ultimate effect which is significantly impaired by camera flashes as well as, groups of people posing for photographs.  Our characters and entertainers are creating a total effect.

  • Is it really that scary?

We do not recommend young children.  The sets are very gory and the characters are not rated. 

  • How can I get a job with you?

Grimes Castle is looking for volunteers to help in all areas of the haunt: Make-Up Artists, Actors, Set Designers, Ticket Takers, Security, and Carpenters. For more information call 775-220-5031.
